South Indian Ocean Billfish Competition

This Tournament is a qualifier event for the International IGFA / ROLEX

The PROGRAMME

Tuesday 5th March:

Last day for arrival at the hotel and registration of Teams
18h00 Briefing, draw of boats, barbecue at Le Morne Anglers Club.
Wednesday 6th and Thursday 7th March:

fishing from 07.00 to 16.30
Friday 8th March:

Free day
Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th March:

Fishing from 07.00 to 16.30
Monday 11th March:

Day at leisure - Evening Diner and Prize Giving function at Le Morne Anglers Club.

Entry fee for the competition
The entry fee for the competition is $ 2,850 per team.
Each member of the team will benefit the following:
a) 4 days fishing in top class boats fully equipped, with lunch pack, soft drinks and mineral water for each angler.
b) Transfer to and from the airport, transfers to and from the club.
c) Barbecue & diner (drinks excluded) at Le Morne Anglers Club
d) Cocktail during weighing every day
e) Registration and handling fees
f) Competition souvenir pack.

No team will take part in the competition if the entry fee has not been paid in full. Please refer to payment procedures in 'Rules and Regulations' section.

Accommodation
Participants will be accommodated at La Pirogue Hotel where special Rates have been negotiated on half board basis i.e. Accommodation, breakfast and diner.
Rates are quoted in Mauritius Rupees - (USD 1 = Approx MUR 30)

Meals are table d'hote or buffet; a full English breakfast is offered.
All meals are served in the Hotel's main restaurant.
The rates are non commissionable and are inclusive of Government taxes.

Conditions
1. In order to qualify for these rates, the bookings and a down payment of 10% of the total amount of the stay must reach the hotel at least 60 days prior to arrival (payment by credit card or telegraphic transfer is acceptable).
2. Confirmed bookings cancelled less than 60 days prior to arrival, will be subject to a cancellation charge of 10% of the total amount of the stay.
3. Confirmed bookings cancelled less than 30 days prior to arrival, will be subject to a cancellation charge of 50% of the total amount of the stay.
4. The balance owed will be settled by the guest upon check in at the Hotel.
